In December 11, 2014  United Nation General Assembly  declared 21st june as International Yoga Day .
In India Yoga is considered or known  to be around 5,000 years old for mental, physical and spiritual practice.
Yoga is founded in India and people used to practiced it for very earlier time.



Yoga was developed as a way to achieve harmony and balance between the heart and soul and it is done to achieve divine enlightenment. Not only this time was passing  and people got to known that the practice of yoga have an still medical benefits.  It helps in curing many harmful diseases like diabetes, high blood pressure and alleviating physical injuries and chronic pain.

Theme of 2016 was “Connect the Youth”.
Theme of 2017 was “Yoga For Health”.
The theme of World Yoga Day 2018 was “Yoga for Peace”.
The theme of World Yoga Day 2019 is “Climate Action”.
